I am currently in the process of raising funds to help establish a community studio space here in San Diego called The Clay Club. Many ceramics students taking clay classes in school have likely been part of some sort of clay organization that helps bring students together to learn, grow, and make friends. I have been a clay club president for multiple colleges throughout my education. I have even been an advisor to the clay club for my students during my time teaching at Riverside City College. The Clay Club San Diego will be a place for any and all who wish to come be part of the vibrant clay community. It will be the clay club for those that wish to join a positive and fun learning environment that promotes growth and fosters friendship. All money raised will go towards leasing a space and acquiring equipment that can accommodate both teaching and production. If you would like to learn more about the project, click the link below.
